Description of Our Domain Terminology

Description of Domains

Core Domain
The Core Domain is the site you would like the traffic I generate to be sent to. It is the most professional site your company has and should also be the one with the highest conversion rates. Your Core Domain is the most important site you have, it is your business card on the web and needs to be as user friendly as you can make it. If you are creating a viral marketing plan, your Core Domain should be where you are publishing the majority of your content, this not only helps with your SEO campaign but also in over all visibility across the social networks. For SEO purposes I recommend that this site be created on the WordPress platform.

Entrance Domain
The Entrance Domain is the site that sits between the Core Domain and the Lead Generation Domains. The Entrance Domain would consist of a static HTML website that will capture the name and email address of each person that is passing through to the Core Domain from the Lead Generation Domains. The purpose of this is for the company to develop a mailing list for future products and services. This is also known as a Name Squeeze page. I like to use these sites to track all incoming traffic from my network before I send them to my Core Domain. Your Entrance Domain is your firewall to the world!

Lead Generation Domain
Each Lead Generation Domain consists of a Blog on the home page, with an about us page, and a privacy page. Behind the scenes is where the magic happens, each domain will have substantial amounts of sub-folders that also have auto-generated blogs and ghost pages each pointing to the Entrance Domain. Your Lead Generation Domain may be as simple as a WordPress blog to as large as some of our fully dynamic database driven content management systems with hundreds of thousands of page

Hub Domain / Forum / Web2.0 Social Network
The Hub Domain is a site that is very user interactive, as in the user will be very hands on; it will have polls and forums to motivate others to link to as an authority site. The Hub Domain will also not be a hard sales site, but it will have advertising for the Core Domain. This is the domain most of the purchased links will be pointing at to raise the Google Page Rank (PR). All articles will be very tightly focused on directing the user to use a Specialist with a link embedded to the Core Domain. The ultimate goal of the Hub Domain is to act as an authority that links to each of the Lead Generation Domains and make their internal pages more search engine visible. These sites are created with mostly user generated content. As the user base grows so will your content.

Blog Domains
The Blog Domains are the sites that we will promote by posting links in all available formats, such as commenting on blogs, creating guestbook profiles, and referral linking from stat information publicly available. Plus we will project our links into sites and other marketing methods. These sites are used to get our Lead Generation Domains indexed into the search engines. These sites can also be parasite hosted. (pages on Blogger, Windows Live, Squidoo)
