Alternative Energy Posts Are So Hot a PDF Gets Dugg
Posted on | November 17, 2007 | 9 Comments
Alternative Energy is a Hot Topic, Are you doing what you can to take advantage of it?
About a week ago I submitted a PDF to Digg and what do you know, it made it past the Bury Brigade.
The PDF did not just get a few Diggs, to made it all the way to the home page! What does this tell you?
If you are a Green Company you must be using this source of traffic. Get on board while you can, don’t let this fall out of your hands, it is too easy to get your message across by utilizing Digg and other social news voting sites.
Just this week every channel I click on had some form of Eco-Green programming.
Take action now. Open an account and become active on with other eco-friendly communities if you need a push with your environmental message. Digg is the place to be.

Wow, I didn’t know that Digg accepted pdf files – I haven’t seen any on there before so this article/topic must have be hot!

I am a little amazed I write a green house cleaning tips blog, at http://www.yourfreshstart.us/wp and I can’t get much traction. The blog is #1 ranked for several searches on Google. Yet, I can’t generate much buzz!

lol, I love the title of this post. …and yet, it is very true. I think it is very interesting how social phenomena reaches the blogosphere. Thanks for the tip!

I’m amazed that you were able to get past the “bury brigade” as I’ve never been able to. I think a huge part of it is also in your presentation; title and description. You need something that grabs peoples attention and such. Oh well, I’ll keep trying.

Sometimes I have a look on Digg Environment.
However I prefer Slashdot.
Slashdot publishes news about science and renewable energy sources.

Yes alternative energy is hot, but it’s still very difficult to differentiate eco blogs and content sites. Like any hot market, it is HUGELY saturated with tons of sites trying to make a quick buck or get their voices heard.
