Become a Power User of Sphinn in 5 Steps

My version of how to do well in Sphinn

This weekend I was under the weather so I was not too active. But I wanted to let a few readers know I am still alive. So I created my 5 methods to Sphinn fame.

Sphinn

  • First and foremost don’t talk about Danny Sullivan. It will get you nowhere. In fact, only talk about yourself.
  • Second, whatever you do, do not post comments on other peoples posts. Especially Chris Winfield’s. Most Sphinn users do not like comments on their posts. I am sure that Lyndon does’t want your input either.
  • The third thing you need to avoid doing is to return private messages. We are here to work, not make friends. So stop returning private messages to Marty. Just don’t send them.
  • Fourth item that is just as important. You must vote without reading the post. Since you do not need to make a comment, there is no reason to even read the post. The title should give you enough information.
  • The fifth "Fool Proof Plan" to Sphinn fame is to submit only your own posts. Again this is work. Do not help the other guy. They will not vote for you anyway.
  • Finally the sixth thing is write another stupid "Sphinn How To" post. Yes, I said five, but I can’t count today.

Now that you are done reading this, Digg one of Tamar’s pages and tell her how much better Digg is today!

Are you still reading this? If you are still reading this let me know if the RSS subscription method is working. By adding me to your favorite RSS reader I can spam you with each and every post.

PS: Ask Andy to Sphinn it for you after you already submitted it. It makes him blush!

Seriously you’re killing me. I love sarcastic… I mean… uh… truthful posts about social media sites I use.

And I hope you feel better!

Thank you, but I am high as a kite from this Coricidin. Can’t you tell?

That is a total lie and a slur on my reputation. I saw it on Pownce, clicked through, read it, clicked Sphinn and then spent a couple of minutes thinking of something to write.

Then I had to think about whether I could use deusioned, which whilst often used isn’t actually a word from all the checking I did.

So then I had to reconstruct everything just to use delusion because it was the exact word I wanted to use.

That right, it is a total lie and a slur on his reputation. I did not ask him to submit the post! He did so at his own free will. But I am sure it is making him smile.

Why do I say that? Now Andy will be the talk of the town! Having two sites competing for the home page in Sphinn in only a few days!!!

Now is this my delusion? Or is this just a new form of linkbait that he is trying to pull?

    Smile

    @Marty

Please keep sending the email. It was meant as a sarcastic post to keep talking to you.

Friendship is the best way to make things happen online with today’s social networks. It was meant to get more people active in participating in under ground conversations.

I know that you like to thank people for helping, so it was an insider post to everyone, we all need to keep making comments to grow our community.

You motice there is a bug in the Sphinn widget showing only the first submission – no way to force it to show the correct one

@ Andy, I tried for two hours last night to find the location of the cache for the widget. At about 4:00AM I finally stopped looking. I thought I could do it myself, I will contact Michelle to see where it is. Thank you for reminding me.

Since I knew I could not change it immediately I thought I could have a little fun with it. If the person was on my site and clicked the Sphinn button. It went to the one I posted. Then they would see the “can’t you read” comment.

If they read the submission you wrote it went to yours. I posted the can’t you read comment to be funny, but some do not know my sense of humor and thought I was just being rude.
